Job Title: Visual designer (Social media, Website, Campaign creatives) Location: Flexible (Chandigarh / Hybrid with travel to program states) Full-time / Freelance About Rupantar Rupantar is one of India's largest education transformation initiatives by the Sri Aurobindo Society. We work across 36 states, and our Strategic Communications team works with multiple program teams across the country to create meaningful, impactful creative work.Everything we create—content, campaigns, visuals—has a real impact and meaning on how the children of this country learn and thrive. What You'll Be Doing This is not just a 'make things look good' role. You'll help us communicate ideas that actually change how people teach, learn, and live.1. Design for Social Media&Campaigns: Including carousels, posts, reels covers and visuals for various program campaigns (education, inclusion, civic engagement). 2. Website&Digital Assets Website banners, landing page visuals Thumbnails, UI elements (basic level) Visual consistency across platforms 3. Communication Collaterals Reports, presentations, case studies Posters, standees, event creatives Simple infographics / visual storytelling 4. Work as part of the Content TeamUnderstand the brand message first, then design Turn complex ideas into simple, meaningful visuals Basic Skills 1–3 years of design experience Good with Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator) / Figma / Canva Strong sense of layout, typography, and colour Ability to follow brand guidelines Mindset (This Matters More)We're looking for people who can think and take ownership. So, know why something is being designed, and be open to feedback and iterations. Turnaround Expectations (Important) This is a fast-moving team, so speed matters. Social media creatives: same day / next day Carousels / small sets: Next dayLarger creatives (reports, campaigns): 2–3 days Revisions: within 3 hours We don't expect perfection in the first draft. But we do expect quick thinking, responsiveness, and improvement.
