Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager for a senior-level, full-time position located in Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kottayam, and Alappuzha. Candidates must have 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive operations and management of the bar, ensuring high standards of service, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in bar management, handling similar responsibilities efficiently.
  • Must have strong organizational skills to oversee daily operations including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness standards, and adherence to health and safety regulations. (Mandatory skill)
  • Ensures bar is well-stocked and clean at all times, demonstrating keen attention to detail. (Mandatory skill)
  • Creates compelling and innovative drink and food menus tailored to customer preferences. (Mandatory skill)
  • Maintains consistent quality of drinks and service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate drink recipe documentation for consistency and training purposes.
  • Skilled in selecting and purchasing liquor and other supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and quality.
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate staff.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee bar operations, ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Create and manage drink and food menus, ensuring creativity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Train, guide, and manage bar staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high operational standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends to innovate and keep the bar competitive.
  • Manage inventory, conduct regular stock checks, and liaise with suppliers for optimal stocking levels.
  • Establish and implement best practices for bar operations, promoting efficiency and profitability.
  • Engage with customers to build a positive atmosphere and assess their satisfaction regularly.
  • Report regularly to higher management on bar performance and financial status.
