Shopify Solutions Architect (Ernakulam)

We are seeking a dual-threat professional who excels in both deep technical Shopify development and advanced e-commerce management. In this role, you will be the primary architect of our Shopify storefronts, responsible for custom coding, performance optimization, and seamless app integrations. Simultaneously, you will step into an advanced management capacity, overseeing the technical roadmap, managing third-party development vendors and internal developers. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Development & Architecture Custom Theme Development: Architect, build, and maintain highly customized Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and modern JavaScript frameworks. App Integration & API Management: Seamlessly integrate third-party Shopify apps and build custom integrations using RESTful and GraphQL APIs to connect ERP, CRM, and fulfillment systems. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve site speed, core web vitals, and overall technical SEO to ensure a lightning-fast user experience. Headless Commerce: Evaluate and potentially transition the store to a headless architecture using Next.Js or Hydrogen if aligned with our scaling needs. Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure pixel-perfect, bug-free deployment of current features. REQUIRED SKILLS Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify/Shopify Plus development, and 2+ years in a technical leadership or project management role. Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), Vue.Js/React, HTML/CSS, and web performance profiling tools. E-commerce Acumen: Deep understanding of the e-commerce lifecycle, including merchandising, checkout flows, payment gateways, and fulfillment logistics. Analytical Skills: Solid ability to interpret data from Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and heat-mapping tools to drive technical decisions. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
