As a Lead Industrial Engineer at our clients prominent manufacturing firm in Kochi, Kerala, IN, your primary focus will be on enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and quality through the application of industrial engineering principles. You will spearhead process optimization initiatives at the state-of-the-art facility by analyzing existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and designing innovative solutions to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and minimize costs. **Key Responsibilities:**- Lead the design, development, and implementation of improved manufacturing processes and systems- Conduct time and motion studies, workflow analyses, and capacity planning to identify inefficiencies- Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement- Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials- Utilize simulation software to model and evaluate proposed process changes before implementation- Analyze production data to identify root causes of problems and develop corrective actions- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement new equipment and technologies- Oversee the design and layout of production lines and workspaces for optimal efficiency- Train and mentor junior industrial engineers and production staff on process improvement techniques- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of implemented changes- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards throughout all processes- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in industrial engineering- Present findings and recommendations to senior management**Qualifications:**- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
