Job Description: Capability Required Unit4 Data Specialist (Finance and Procurement – Data Migration) Purpose of Capability To support the Oracle ERP Programme by delivering Finance and Procurement data migration activities from Unit4 , including mapping, extraction, transformation, validation, and data quality resolution in line with the approved migration strategy. Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and map Unit4 Finance and Procurement data structures to Oracle ERP migration templates
- Develop SQL views within Unit4 development workplace aligned to template requirements
- Execute data extraction, validation, and reconciliation activities
- Identify and document data quality issues (e.g. missing values, duplicates, invalid references)
- Support migration cycle (DM1) through preparation of datasets and templates
- Collaborate with:
- Data Migration team
- Finance SMEs
- Embridge and Mastek delivery teams
- Ensure compliance with:
- GDPR and data handling controls
- Secure staging and data transfer protocols
- Maintain documentation to support auditability and traceability

Key Skills & Experience Essential:
- Strong experience with Unit4 (Agresso) – Finance and Procurement data structures
- Experience in ERP data migration (Finance and Procurement domain)
- Strong understanding of:
- General ledger
- Suppliers / customers
- Chart of accounts / cost centres

Desirable:
- Advanced SQL development and data extraction capability
- Experience with Oracle ERP data migration templates
- Experience working in regulated environments (GDPR/data security)
- Exposure to higher education or complex multi-entity organisations

Deliverables / Acceptance Criteria The resource will be deemed effective where they:
- Deliver assigned Finance template mappings and SQL outputs
- Produce reconciled datasets aligned to Unit4 source data
