Title: Technical Product Engineering Lead Hands-On Product Delivery, Deep Technical Leadership, AI-First Execution Location: Kochi, India Employment Type: Full-time Function: Product Engineering / Delivery Role Type: Hands-on Leadership Role Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Technical Product Engineering Lead in Kochi to own School Path product delivery across engineering, QA, data, and GTM priorities. This is not a pure project manager or scrum master role. The leader must combine strong product thinking, deep technical problem-solving, user/customer advocacy, quality ownership, and hands-on coding/debugging support to keep delivery moving at high velocity without sacrificing team health or product trust.Core Mission: Lead School Path dev, QA, and data teams to deliver complete, high-quality product journeys from requirements to production. Act as the customer/user voice while balancing scope, resources, GTM urgency, technical debt, and release quality. Go deep into technical issues: inspect architecture, review code, debug production problems, unblock developers, and assist with coding when needed.Drive AI-first automation across requirements, design, UX, code, testing, deployment, monitoring, and feedback loops. Key Responsibilities: Product + Delivery Ownership Convert business/GTM needs into sprint-ready priorities Own end-to-end delivery: requirements, design, UX, development, QA, and releaseEnsure complete user journeys, not isolated features Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs Keep leadership, GTM, engineering, data, and QA aligned Hands-On Technical Leadership: Review architecture, data flows, APIs, PRs, and design tradeoffs Debug complex frontend/backend/data/integration issuesPersonally prototype, script, or code to unblock delivery Improve CI/CD, observability, security, performance, and test discipline Coach developers toward stronger engineering practices User + Quality Ownership Challenge weak UX and broken flows Validate releases against real parent/school workflowsDrive regression, integration, and journey testing Track production defects, root causes, and release health AI-First Delivery Use AI tools for backlog, prototyping, coding, QA, docs, and analytics Automate repetitive delivery bottlenecks Push rapid velocity while protecting quality and maintainabilityEstablish responsible AI engineering practices Required Profile: 8+ years across software engineering, product engineering, technical delivery, or engineering leadership Recent hands-on coding/debugging ability across modern web platforms, APIs, databases, and cloud deployments Strong full-stack understanding; preferred exposure to React/Next.js, Node/Python, PostgreSQL/Supabase/Firebase, AWS/Azure/Vercel, CI/CD, GitHub, Linear (or similar tools), GA4/PostHog, and AI coding toolsProven ability to lead developers, QA, and data teams while managing customer, GTM, product, and team-capacity pressures Extreme product quality consciousness, user empathy, ownership mindset, and calm execution under ambiguity Success Measures: Faster, more predictable sprint execution with fewer production defects and fewer incomplete user journeysCritical technical blockers resolved quickly through hands-on leadership Improved automation across coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and data/product workflows A stronger Kochi delivery engine that can move fast, maintain quality, and support GTM priorities sustainably PriceSenz is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
