- Rotary Equipment Location: (Project Site Saudi Arabia) Industry: Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / EPC / Shutdown & Turnaround Job Summary: The QA/QC Inspector Rotary Equipment is responsible for ensuring quality control and inspection of all rotary equipment installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning activities. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection of rotary equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and fans
- Ensure installation, alignment, and leveling activities are as per approved procedures
- Verify material certificates, inspection reports, and documentation
- Witness equipment testing such as run tests, vibration analysis, and performance testing
- Monitor and inspect shaft alignment, tolerances, and clearances
- Ensure compliance with OEM specifications and project standards
- Review and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and quality procedures
- Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and vendor representatives
- Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up for corrective actions
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation
- Participate in audits and client inspections
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards during all inspection activities Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5
- 10 years of experience in QA/QC for rotary equipment
- Solid experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical projects
- Mandatory GCC / Saudi Arabia experience preferred (contractor side)
- Experience in Shutdown & Turnaround projects
- Knowledge of international standards (API, ASME, OEM specifications)
- Experience in installation, alignment, and testing of rotary equipment
