Dreamworld Solutions is looking for a system administrator to become part of our team in Surat. As a key contributor, you will your expertise to provide hands on assistance to manage our in house IT infrastructure. Open positions

- 1 Job Profile Monitoring of the network, IT infrastructure and various applications to check for any new or outstanding alarms/issues. Set up monitoring, configuration management, administration & operation practices for such applications/systems. Developing better monitoring & systems management practices to maximize uptime Troubleshooting complex systems/network issues. Assist in developing and implementation of deployment plan. Work with IT and QA teams to deploy and troubleshoot the system applications Work with the management to develop deployment specifications and configurations Analyze and troubleshoot deployment issues in a timely manner. Act as primary contact for deployment related inquiries and issues. Troubleshot and management of the virtual machines. Key skills Extensive Linux system administration background A solid understanding of a LINUX-based operating system; understands paging and swapping, inter-process communication, devices and what device drivers do, file system concepts, along with internal Linux hacking. A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts; understands principles of routing, client/server programming & the design of consistent network-wide file system layouts. A deep understanding of networking and networking technologies Switches, Routers, IP routing, load balancers, failure modes & diagnostics. Should have strong DNS Concepts. Ability to setup and maintain High Availability Clusters and Load Balanced environment. In depth knowledge about Load balancing & High Availability.Firewalls (Iptables, BSD packet filter, other commercial etc). Knowledge of MySQL, databases In-depth knowledge of Apache web server and related modules like PHP, mod security, Tomcat, SSL etc. Knowledge about RAID using mdadm Solid troubleshooting and problem solving skills Good documentation skill Good communication skill in verbal and written.
