Staff Nurse Coimbatore

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Monitor patients’ vital signs and condition, and report any changes to the doctor or senior medical staff. Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed. Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries when required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Ensure proper infection control practices and maintain hygiene standards in the ward. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care. Coordinate with other departments (pharmacy, lab, reception, etc.) for smooth patient care. Handle medical equipment safely and ensure proper maintenance. Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid or life support when necessary. Follow hospital policies, protocols, and ethical standards at all times. Support administrative tasks such as patient admission, discharge, and transfer processes. Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution Valid nursing registration with State Nursing Council Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience (freshers can also be considered, if applicable) Basic knowledge of patient care, medication administration, and nursing procedures Valuable communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in shifts, including night duties Basic computer knowledge for maintaining patient records Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is an added advantage
