(JD) – ANM / GNM Nursing Assistant Position: ANM / GNM Nursing Assistant Department: Patient Care Services / Home Healthcare Location: As Assigned Experience: Fresher to 4 Years Qualification: ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) / GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated ANM/GNM Nursing Assistants to provide quality patient care and support healthcare services. The candidate will assist patients with daily activities, monitor health conditions, administer basic nursing care, and ensure patient comfort and safety. Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility support.
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain medication records.
- Assist in wound dressing, catheter care, Ryles tube feeding, tracheostomy care, and other nursing procedures as required.
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the concerned medical team.
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately.
- Ensure infection control practices and maintain hygiene standards.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and family members.
- Assist in emergency situations and provide first aid when required.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow organizational policies and protocols. Required Skills
- Good knowledge of nursing procedures and patient care.
- Ability to monitor and assess patient conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.
- Basic documentation and reporting skills. Eligibility Criteria
- ANM or GNM qualification from a recognized institution.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 1–4 years of experience in hospitals, clinics, ICU, ward care, elder care, or home healthcare will be preferred.
- Registration with the Nursing Council (where applicable). Preferred Experience
- Home healthcare services.
- ICU, Ward, Post-operative, Elderly Care, Palliative Care, or Critical Care support.
- Experience in handling bedridden patients and medical equipment. Salary & Benefits
