Job Description: Site Supervisor Company: Aaryan Devcons Private Limited Industry: Construction Contracting Project Type: Residential Projects Location: Site-based (as per project location) Reports To: Site Engineer / Project Manager Job Purpose The Site Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day on-site supervision of residential construction activities, ensuring work is carried out as per drawings, quality standards, timelines, and safety norms, while coordinating with labour, contractors, and site engineers. Key ResponsibilitiesSite Execution & Supervision
- Supervise daily construction activities at residential project sites.
- Ensure work execution is as per approved drawings, specifications, and plans.
- Allocate work to labour and subcontractors and monitor productivity.
- Coordinate with Site Engineer for layout, levels, and technical clarifications. Quality Control
- Maintain construction quality and workmanship standards.
- Ensure proper use of materials and approved construction practices.
- Identify defects and ensure timely rectification. Labour & Contractor Management
- Manage and supervise masons, carpenters, helpers, and other site labour.
- Track labour attendance and work progress.
- Ensure discipline and smooth workflow on site. Material Handling
- Assist in material planning and monitor material usage.
- Ensure materials are stored properly to avoid damage or wastage.
- Report material shortages or excess consumption to the Site Engineer. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety norms and site safety practices.
- Enforce use of safety gear by workers.
- Maintain clean and organized site conditions. Reporting & Coordination
- Update daily progress to Site Engineer / Project Manager.
- Assist in preparation of daily site reports.
- Coordinate with other departments when required (stores, labour admin, vendors). Qualifications & Experience
- ITI / Diploma in Civil OR relevant construction experience.
- 3–7 years of experience as Site Supervisor in residential construction projects.
- Practical knowledge of civil works such as RCC, masonry, plastering, tiling, finishing works. Skills & Competencies
- Strong site supervision and coordination skills.
- Basic understanding of drawings and construction methods.
- Ability to manage labour efficiently.
- Valuable communication skills (Hindi / Marathi; basic English preferred).
- Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail. Preferred Candidate Profile
- Hands-on experience in residential villa/apartment projects.
- Ability to work under project timelines and pressure.
- Familiarity with local construction practices and labour handling. Pay: ₹20,000.00
