Estimation & Billing Engineer (Cuffe Parade)

Senior Tendering & Billing Engineer Location: Mumbai (Head Office) Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹65,000 per month Experience Required: 6–8+ Years Industry: Government Contracting | Civil Construction | Interior Fit-Outs We are a well-established and growing contracting company executing prestigious Civil Construction and Interior projects for Government Departments, PSUs, Airports, Institutional Clients, and Corporate Companies across India. We are currently looking for a capable and experienced Senior Tendering & Billing Engineer to join our core team at our Mumbai Headquarters. This role is ideal for someone who has strong practical experience in contractor-side tendering and billing, understands project costing and market rates thoroughly, and can independently handle commercial and tendering responsibilities with confidence. Candidates looking for long-term growth, stability, and exposure to high-value projects are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities:Tendering & Estimation:
- Search and identify suitable tenders from Government, PSU, GEM, and Corporate portals
- Review tender documents, BOQs, specifications, drawings, and pre-qualification criteria
- Prepare technical bids, commercial bids, costing sheets, and tender submissions
- Evaluate project feasibility and calculate cost per sq.ft. for commercial decision-making
- Prepare detailed estimations, quantity take-offs, and rate analysis
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and pricing
- Manage online tender participation and submission processes independently
- Maintain tender records, schedules, and documentation systematically Billing & Commercial:
- Prepare contractor-side RA Bills and Final Bills
- Verify measurements and billing quantities as per BOQ and site progress
- Prepare variation statements, reconciliation sheets, and extra item claims
- Coordinate with project/site teams for billing inputs and supporting documents
- Follow up with clients, consultants, and billing departments for approvals and certifications
- Track payment status and maintain proper billing documentation
- Ensure timely submission and smooth processing of bills Candidate Profile:
- B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in Tendering & Billing
- Strong experience in Civil Construction and Interior Fit-Out projects
- Thorough understanding of contractor-side billing procedures
- Good knowledge of Civil and Interior material specifications and current market rates
- Strong understanding of BOQs, rate analysis, project costing, and estimation
- Experience handling Government / PSU / Corporate tenders preferred
- Good command over Excel, AutoCAD, and tender documentation processes
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up abilities
