Role Description

This is a full time, in office role based in Sanquem Goa for a Paravet or Veterinary Assistant at YODA Animal Birth Control Centre. The individual will be responsible for providing care and support to animals under supervision, assisting with treatments, and monitoring their health. Duties include helping with assisting surgeon during surgeries, feeding, bathing, cleaning, administering medication, and assisting in sterilisation or vaccinations. This role also involves educating clients about animal care and providing support to the veterinary team and animal caretakers.

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience in Animal Care and Pet Care, with the ability to handle animals compassionately and responsibly.

Experience in Client Education and providing guidance on animal handling, care routines, and general well-being.

Proficiency in Customer Service to effectively communicate with animal caretakers, pet owners, and visitors.

Basic knowledge of Veterinary Medicine or a related field; experience with administering first aid, vaccination, or assisting veterinarians is beneficial.

Excellent organizational, observational, and interpersonal skills.
