This Position reports to Senior Engineering Manager In this role, you will have the prospect to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is # LI
- Hybrid. This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India You will be mainly accountable for: You will be mainly accountable for:
- Supporting automation projects across design, development, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Working on HMI & application development for process control systems
- Assisting in migration and integration of third-party automation systems
- Performing system testing and validation activities (FAT/SAT)
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues in automation systems

- 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in automation engineering
- Basic understanding of control panel / cabinet design
- Power calculations, heat load calculations, and sizing
- Experience with system imaging tools (Acronis, Norton Ghost)
- Proficiency in Microsoft software and patch management
- Familiarity with Firewall, routers, VLAN configuration, Antivirus configuration for automation systems and OS environments including Windows, Linux, UNIX
- Virtual machine setup for industrial systems and basic knowledge of industrial networking components:
- Managed switches (Moxa, Hirschmann, RuggedCom) and understanding of communication protocols:
- Profibus, Modbus (TCP & Serial), OPC UA, IEC 61850, BACnet
