Accountant Cuttack

Key Responsibilities Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally/ERP software Handle purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries Maintain stock and inventory accounting for jewellery items Reconcile physical stock with accounting records Prepare GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances Manage accounts payable and receivable Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and customers regarding payments Perform bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports Support internal and statutory audits Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, and bills Monitor outstanding payments and follow up for collections Ensure accuracy in gold/silver inventory valuation and accounting

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com)/ M.Com Knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation Experience in jewellery, retail, or distribution industry preferred

Skills Required Robust accounting and bookkeeping knowledge Attention to detail and accuracy Positive communication and coordination skills Ability to handle confidential financial information Time management and multitasking ability Analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary

As per industry standards and experience.

Pay: ₹8,533.46
- ₹25,000.00 per month
