Senior Accountant (Cuttack)

Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Cuttack, Odisha Exp: 7-10 Years. Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month Educational Qualification: B.Com/M.Com. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update accounting records using Tally ERP or similar software.
- Prepare and submit GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9 & 9C), perform GST reconciliations, handle TDS deductions and filings, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements including income tax.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, process vendor payments, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting activities.
- Liaise with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Create MIS reports and financial summaries for management review.
- Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and monitoring of expenses.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting principles.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Pay: ₹30,000.00
