Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Cuttack)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to oversee and carry out maintenance activities for mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient, protected, and reliable operation of mechanical assets by implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, troubleshooting issues, and improving maintenance processes.
- Perform regular inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, and HVAC systems.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and failures, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts used, and system performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance operations.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and propose long-term solutions.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or equipment upgrades.
- Manage inventory levels for mechanical spare parts and tools.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and efficiency. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹219,204.48
