Description
1) Job Purpose
- Responsible for all key functions of anode caster (Anode Furnace, Melting Furnace and anode caster area ) Operational activities for the smooth and flawless daily work management, continuous improvement.
- To collaborate with AET members, DMT frequently for the understanding and resolving plant small operational issues and get it resolved.
- This position is responsible for the operations of Anode furnace, Anode caster and scrap melting furnace, which includes operations of Scrap melting furnace, Anode furnace and casting activity.
- Responsible for the controlling and charging of spent anode in scrap melting furnace, Lancing activity at SMF and Anode as and when required, Operation of 10MT EOT crane, Barite coating solution preparedness and coating activity.
- Supervising work activities based on SOP.
- Responsible for the safety of contractual manpower at workplace.
- Managing shift duties.
- Timely reporting of any abnormalities and unsafe conditions at workplace and get it corrected.
- Responsible for the operations of cast wheel, cooling tower, bosh tanks and EOT crane.
- Should be responsible for the driving safety for the contractual manpower with tool box talk and legal compliances related to safety.
