Plant Head – Plastic Injection Molding. Location: Kadaiya, Daman (Near Vapi, Gujarat) Experience: 12+ Years in Plastic Injection Molding Job Overview We are a pioneer in LED Light Housing manufacturing, operating a state-of-the-art, fully automated facility for over 30 years. Our unit features 25 advanced Plastic Injection Molding Machines equipped with robotics, auto-feeders, and an in-house CNC/EDM tool room. We are seeking a highly competent, hands-on Plant Head to take complete operational ownership of the facility, independently. A turnaround specialist. The ideal candidate will spend maximum time on the molding shop floor, managing our high-end machinery, implementing structured Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and reducing production losses. Key Responsibilities
- Shop Floor Leadership: Maintain a strong physical presence on the molding floor to monitor operations, troubleshoot machinery, and mentor supervisors.
- SOP Implementation: Build, introduce, and enforce strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments: Purchase, Incoming Quality, Stores, Production, Assembly, Packing, Dispatch, and Accounts.
- Quality & Rejection Control: Analyze root causes of heavy rejections, implement corrective actions, and restore the strict quality standards required by our Tier-1 lighting brand clients.
- Data-Driven Tracking: Replace verbal orders with daily production logs, rejection trackers, and department-wise efficiency metrics.
- Team Stabilization: Rebuild staff morale, optimize manpower allocation, reduce labor turnover, and establish transparent accountability. Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering, or a Diploma/Degree from CIPET.
- Industry Profile: Minimum 12 years of experience in automated plastic injection molding plants.
- Machinery Expertise: Hands-on technical experience with Shibaura injection molding machines, automated systems, and robotics is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of molding parameters, tool room operations (CNC, EDM, Sparking), mold maintenance, and plastic resins. Core Competencies & Expectations
