Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch Credit Manager role based in Rajsamand. The Branch Credit Manager will evaluate and approve credit proposals for SME and retail customers in line with company policies and risk frameworks. The role involves analyzing financial statements, assessing repayment capacity, reviewing collateral, and determining appropriate credit limits and terms. The individual will monitor portfolio quality, track early warning signals, and coordinate with collections teams to minimize delinquencies. Responsibilities also include maintaining documentation standards, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines, and preparing periodic credit and risk reports for branch and regional leadership. The Branch Credit Manager will work closely with sales, operations, and risk teams to support business growth while maintaining sound credit quality at the branch level. Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Credit Management and Credit , with the ability to assess borrower profiles, structure facilities, and recommend appropriate lending decisions.
- Proficiency in Credit Risk Management and Analytical Skills to evaluate financial statements, cash flows, and market conditions, and to identify early warning signals in the portfolio.
- Solid understanding of Finance , including lending products, collateral evaluation, and regulatory requirements relevant to SME and retail credit.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certification (e.g., CA, CFA, FRM) is an advantage.
- Experience in branch-based credit underwriting or credit appraisal in banking or NBFCs, preferably in SME or retail lending.
- Ability to work on-site in Rajsamand, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple credit files within defined turnaround times.
