Environmental Health Safety Specialist (Dhanbad)

Role Description The Environmental Health Safety Specialist is a full time, on-site role based in Dhanbad. The specialist will be responsible for implementing and monitoring occupational health and safety programs, ensuring workplace safety compliance, and conducting regular safety training for staff and students. Additional responsibilities include performing risk assessments, identifying potential hazards, compiling EHS reports, and fostering a culture of safety and environmental awareness across campus operations. Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health principles
- Proficiency in Workplace Safety and Health & Safety practices
- Solid experience in designing and delivering Safety Training programs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in safety compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health, safety management, engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or certification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is advantageous
