R & D HEAD/LAB HEAD (Dhanbad)

Role & responsibilities
- Designing ,establishing , and maintaining refractory testing and quality -control labs
- Developing and validating test methods ,procedures, and protocols for raw materials and finished products
- Conducting laboratory testing (physical ,chemical ,thermal)and analysis ;interpreting and reporting results
- Managing equipment procurement,installation,calibration , and preventive maintenance.
- Ensuring laboratory safety,compliance with standards,and quality -management practices
- Handling customer inspections,audits,and technical queries in a timely ,qualified manner
- Co-ordinating with production,R & D ,and quality teams to solve technical issues and support product developments.
- Preparing technical documentation,test reports,and SOPs training laboratory staff .
- Maintaining state of art Lab equipments. Reducing downtime and effective spare part management.
- Knows how to handle every Lab equipments
- Expertise with (XRF,XRD,CREEP,RUL,HMOR,CMOR (AP,BD,CCS(BOTH BOILING) AND Vacuum).
- LRR,LRD(Rictverl Analysis)
- CREEP,HaroR,RUL,CAROR
- MP,BD(Boiling & Vacum)
- CCS(IS,EN STANDARD)
- Wet Chemical Testing.
- Team Management
- ISO Audits
- Customer Inspections
- Supports Lab reports publishing
- External liaison with various agencies like IITs,NITs & Central Govt Ceramic Institutes etc.
- Innovation and continuous improvements. Preferred candidate profile
- B.Tech / M TECH -CERAMIC/MATERIAL SCIENCE WITH 10 PLUS YRS EXPERIENCE IN REFRACTORY Experience Required
