Merchandiser (Tiruppur)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser to manage end-to-end order execution, coordinate with buyers, and ensure timely delivery of quality garments. The candidate will act as a bridge between buyers, production, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle buyer communication (email & calls) for order updates and requirements
- Understand buyer specifications, tech packs, and order details
- Coordinate with sampling, production, and quality teams
- Follow up on sample development and approvals
- Prepare Time & Action (T&A;) calendar and ensure adherence
- Monitor order status from development to shipment
- Ensure timely procurement of fabrics and trims
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors
- Costing and price negotiation with buyers (if required)
- Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and quality standards
- Maintain proper documentation (PO, invoice, packing list, etc.)
- Handle shipment planning and coordination with logistics team
- Resolve production issues and delays proactively Required Skills:
- Robust communication and negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of garment production processes
- Familiarity with fabrics, trims, and costing
- Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Email handling) Preferred Candidate:
- Experience in Tiruppur garment export industry
- Knowledge of compliance and buyer requirements
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Job Type: Permanent Pay: ₹25,000.00
