Lab Assistant (Tiruppur)

Core Responsibilities
- Dyeing & Sample Preparation: Weigh dyestuffs, prepare stock solutions, and execute dyeing of sample fabrics.
- Color Matching & Quality Control: Perform, evaluate, and approve color lab dips to match customer standards, including checking finished fabric quality parameters.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate, clean, and calibrate lab equipment such as spectrophotometers and laboratory dyeing machines.
- Documentation: Maintain precise records of formulations, testing results, and inventory of chemicals.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the lab adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Key Qualifications & Skills
- Education: A diploma or B.Sc. in Textile Chemistry, Chemistry, or related field is typically required.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a textile dyeing laboratory is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in color science, dye chemistry, and computer color matching software.
