This dedication to innovation, ethics, and outstanding service makes Devson Impex a reputable name in the industry.Job Description: Research&Development Executive– Food&Nutra Ingredients Position: Research&Development (R&D) Executive Experience Required: 3–5 Years Location: Mumbai Industry: Food Ingredients / Nutraceutical Ingredients About the Role We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented R&D Executive with hands-on experience in food and nutraceutical ingredients. The candidate should have strong expertise in new product development (NPD), formulation, and ingredient evaluation within the food and nutraceutical industry. Key Responsibilities - Lead and support new product development (NPD) projects for food and nutraceutical ingredients.- Develop innovative formulations aligned with market trends and customer requirements. - Conduct laboratory trials, stability studies, and product evaluations. - Source and evaluate new raw materials and functional ingredients. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Regulatory, Production, and Sales.- Maintain product documentation, technical specifications, and formulation records. - Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. - Support scale-up activities from lab trials to commercial production. - Analyze competitor products and industry trends for innovation opportunities.Required Qualifications&Skills - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Biotechnology, or related field. - 3–5 years of relevant experience in Food/Nutraceutical Ingredients industry. - Proven experience in New Product Development (NPD). - Strong understanding of food ingredients, nutraceuticalformulations, and functional ingredients.- Knowledge of regulatory and quality standards applicable to food and nutraceutical products. - Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Experience - Experience working with functional foods, health supplements, premixes, or specialty ingredients.- Exposure to pilot plant trials and commercial product launches. - Familiarity with ingredient applications in beverages, supplements, bakery, dairy, or wellness products.
