ROBO-G® aims to inspire children to explore the world of robotics technology at an early age, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Robotics Competitions and R&D; Lead. We are looking for a Robotics Competition Specialist who can take complete ownership of robotics Olympiad planning, training, content creation, and competition execution. This role requires a strong technical background, prior experience in robotics competitions, and the ability to design meaningful learning and competition experiences for students.Key Responsibilities:Train and mentor students (ages 5-15) for robotics competitions such as Indian Robotics Olympiad (IRO), World Robot Olympiad (WRO), FIRST LEGO League (FLL), or similarTeach core robotics and programming conceptsAnalyze competition rules and break challengesCreate detailed training plans, timelines, and preparation roadmapsDesign strategies aligned with real-world problem-solving and competition constraintsDesign, build, program, and fine-tune competition robotsDevelop clean, reusable, and effective programs (blocks / MicroPython / Arduino-based)Support robot calibration, testing, and performance optimizationPrepare teams for robot inspection, trial runs, and judgingWork closely with the core team to continuously improve Olympiad structure and qualityManage competition-day execution (offline/online)Coordinate with students, parents, organizers, and judgesHandle last-minute troubleshooting and decision-making during eventsEnsure smooth execution and a positive learning experience for participantsQualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, robotics, mechatronics, electronics, computer science, or related field1-5 years of prior experience in robotics competitions, STEM education, or coachingStrong hands-on experience with LEGO Robotics/SPIKE/EV3/Arduino / Micro: bit (any) and block-based coding and/or MicroPython/C++Solid understanding of competition-based robotics workflowsAbility to plan independently and take ownership of deliverablesStrong communication and documentation skillsExperience participating in or coaching WRO, IRO, FLL, Robocup, etc.Experience in designing Olympiad challenges or rulebooksContent creation skills (training material, presentations, videos, or guides)Willingness to travel for competitions and workshopsPassion for mentoring and STEM education Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4lh8xj
