Senior Manager - Warehouse (Mumbai)

Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL) is one of the fastest growing companies who has vision to solve social issues regarding energy, environment, resource, etc with producing lithium-ion battery products. Exide Energy Solutions Ltd is setting up India’s first Giga plant to manufacture Lithium Ion Cells in Bengaluru. Exide Energy Solutions Limited is looking for Warehouse in the Manufacturing organisation to achieve company’s goal at the Devanahalli, Bangalore Location.

Job Location: Devanahalli, Bangalore

Roles and Responsibility:

- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and maintain safety standards.
- Plan warehouse layouts, manage storage space, and schedule shifts to maximize workforce efficiency.
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues, including staff conflicts, equipment maintenance, and emergency situations.
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking and control, prevent overstocking and stockouts, optimize storage, and lead regular audits to maintain stock accuracy.
- Enforce workplace safety standards, ensure compliance with regulations, conduct risk assessments, and implement emergency protocols.
- Oversee SAP & WMS transaction, operations, barcode scanners, data analytics, and automation tools to improve efficiency, inventory visibility, and reporting.
- Establish and enforce operational procedures that enhance efficiency and uphold safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain all material handling equipment (MHE) regularly to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and ensure adherence to ISO/IATF standards across the function.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and drive 5S practices across all warehouses

Mandatory Skills:

- Any B.E/B.Tech or Masters in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
- Minimum of 14 years of experience in warehouse management preferably in Chemical Industry.
- Experienced in managing 3PL, Transportation.
- Well versed with DG goods and regulations, DG certification is added advantage.
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Experience in SAP or any other ERP & WMS

Desired Skills:

- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and SAP Knowledge.
- Knowledge of ASRS (Automatic storage and retrieval system)
- Leadership skills and ability manage staff.
- Solid decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
