Event Production Manager (Mumbai)

Title: Event Production Manager Location: Chandigarh University, Gharuan Mohali, Punjab

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and technically sound Event Production Manager to oversee the complete production setup for university events, concerts, conferences, cultural festivals, celebrity shows, and large-scale productions. The candidate will be responsible for managing stage setups, sound systems, lighting, AV production, stage measurements, technical inspections, and overall event production execution.

The ideal candidate should have solid technical knowledge of live event production and the ability to coordinate with vendors, artists, technical teams, and event operations staff to ensure smooth event delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute technical production requirements for all university events. Inspect and approve stage setup, stage dimensions, barricading, trussing, rigging, and structural safety. Verify stage measurements and ensure proper stage size as per event requirements and artist technical riders. Supervise installation and functioning of: Sound systems Line arrays Mixers and consoles Lighting systems LED walls Projectors and AV equipment Coordinate with production vendors, sound engineers, lighting engineers, and backstage teams. Ensure proper power distribution, DG backup coordination, and electrical safety compliance. Conduct technical rehearsals, sound checks, and final production inspections before events. Troubleshoot technical issues during live events and ensure minimal downtime. Monitor stage safety, crowd barricading, cable management, and emergency readiness. Review artist technical riders and arrange production requirements accordingly. Maintain event production inventory and coordinate equipment logistics. Prepare production layouts, setup plans, and technical checklists. Ensure timely setup and dismantling of event infrastructure. Coordinate with internal departments for seamless event execution.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Production, Audio Engineering, or related field (preferred) Certifications in sound engineering or live production (preferred)

Experience Required: 8–10+ years of experience in event production, stage management, or live sound Proven experience handling large-scale events, concerts, or productions Experience managing teams and vendors
