Events Manager (Mumbai)

Role & responsibilities
- Plan and execute events such as corporate meetings, conferences, birthday celebration for clients, corporate sports events, onsite and offsite tech summit, and online events (webinars by industry leaders).
- Develop event concepts, themes, and budgets aligned with organizational goals.
- Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
- Coordinate logistics including catering, transportation, audiovisual setup, and staffing.
- Manage event timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Oversee in office event operations and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, operations) to ensure cohesive execution.
- Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Evaluate event success and prepare post-event reports with insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations. Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning or project management
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes.
- Proficiency in event management software and MS Office. Preferred Skills
- Independently owning the event and branding vertical.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Strong vendor management and networking skills.
- Budgeting and financial management experience.
