The Sales Manager is responsible for driving event revenues by sourcing, converting, and managing corporate events, social functions, private parties, and brand activations. The role involves end-to-end ownership from lead generation and negotiations to event execution coordination and post-event closure. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Development Generate event leads through corporates, agencies, planners, event managers, and local networks Convert enquiries into confirmed business through strong follow-ups and negotiations Achieve monthly and annual sales targets Maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecasting 1. Corporate & Institutional Sales Acquire and manage corporate clients for meetings, team outings, product launches, and annual parties Build long-term relationships with HR, admin, and procurement teams Secure repeat business and annual contracts 1. Event Planning & Coordination Act as the single point of contact for clients from enquiry to event execution Coordinate with operations, kitchen, bar, and
service teams to ensure flawless delivery Prepare event orders (BEOs) with explicit menu, setup, and timing details 1. Pricing, Contracts & Billing Prepare proposals, menus, and commercial terms Negotiate pricing while maintaining target margins Ensure timely advance collection, contracts, and payment closures Coordinate invoicing and follow-ups for outstanding payments 1. Marketing & Promotions Support Work with the marketing team to promote offerings and packages Support digital listings on platforms like Insider, Dineout, venue portals, and aggregators Provide content inputs for brochures, decks, and social media 1. Guest Experience & Service Recovery Attend events and ensure client satisfaction Handle escalations and ensure service recovery Collect feedback and testimonials post-event 1. Reporting & MIS Maintain detailed MIS for enquiries, conversions, revenues, and collections Track performance against targets and share weekly/monthly reports Provide market feedback on pricing, demand trends, and competitor activity Skills & Experience 4-6 years of experience in event sales (hotel or large venue preferred) Solid corporate and social events sales network Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Strong coordination and execution capabilities Target-driven and commercially sharp Pay: ₹25,000.00
