Head Of Operations And Logistics (Mumbai)

Role Overview We are looking for a highly driven and execution-focused Head of Operations to lead end-to-end event infrastructure operations for AirClad India. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in event operations, exhibition logistics, temporary structure deployment, warehouse management, crew handling, and pan-India execution planning. This role will own the operational backbone of the business ensuring every deployment is executed safely, efficiently, and to premium international standards. Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Set up and manage the Mumbai warehouse operations
- Oversee inventory management, storage systems, racking, maintenance, and material tracking
- Monitor equipment condition, repair schedules, and consumables inventory
- Ensure operational readiness of all structures and event materials Operations & Deployment Management
- Lead end-to-end event deployment and derig operations across India
- Ensure structures are installed safely, on time, and as per SOPs
- Manage operational execution at event sites
- Coordinate with venue teams, clients, local authorities, and vendors during events
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards SOP Development & Process Control
- Create and implement SOPs for:
- Structure installation
- Dismantling (Derig)
- Transportation
- Quality checks
- Site operations
- Improve operational efficiency and deployment processes continuously Crew & Vendor Management
- Manage and schedule site crews for deployments
- Handle crew briefing, supervision, productivity, and performance management
- Build and manage relationships with:
- Transport vendors
- Crew agencies
- Equipment rental partners
- Logistics providers Logistics & Fleet Coordination
- Coordinate inbound logistics for imported structures
- Work with freight forwarders, CHA agents, and customs teams
- Manage fleet movement and transportation planning for event deployments across locations
- Ensure timely dispatch and movement of structures and equipment Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5-- 8 years of experience in:
- Event Operations
- Exhibition Management
- Logistics & Supply Chain
- Event Infrastructure
- Temporary Structure Operations
- Experience handling multi-city operations and deployment planning
- Solid team handling and crew management experience
- Knowledge of rigging, temporary structures, staging, fabrication, or event infrastructure preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and installation manuals
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in high-pressure event environments
- Willingness to travel extensively across India
