- VRay Position Responsibilities: Develop and build simulation scenes using Unreal Engine and other gaming platforms of technical installations such as offshore platforms, vessels and onshore process facilities with and without physics. Co-ordinate with team based in Norway which will host simulation workshops with projects and clients with a proactive and solution oriented mindset. Tasks:
- Develop and build asset library and physics engine together with developers based in Norway, effectively communicating with stakeholders
- Investigate current technologies and assist in further developing the departments deliverables and technical competency Education/Experience:
- Master or Bachelor degree within engineering/physics with thorough understanding of physics related to mechanical engineering
- At least 5 years of experience overseeing game-development in Unreal Engine is preferred, but experience with Unity is also relevant.
- At least 5 years of experience with computer programming languages such as C++, Java, Python etc.
- Experience with 3D animations and/or architectural modelling is also beneficial
- Competency within data integration, "user interactions" and stresstesting is relevant
- A commercial mindset, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
