Based in SF and Hyderabad, we are a young, fast-moving team on a mission to build AI for Good, driving innovation and positive societal impact.About the Role: As a Legal Research Annotator, you will play a critical role in improving advanced AI systems by reviewing, annotating, and validating legal research and analysis content. This role requires a strong understanding of legal principles, statutory interpretation, and case law reasoning to ensure AI-generated outputs are accurate, well-reasoned, and contextually appropriate. You will work with complex legal materials across multiple jurisdictions while maintaining high standards of precision and neutrality.Responsibilities: Review case law reasoning, legal arguments, and statutory applications. Evaluate logical structure, precedent relevance, and interpretation accuracy. Verify citations against original sources. Identify invalid assumptions, reasoning gaps, or misapplied precedents. Annotate reasoning chains for clarity and correctness.Ensure high-quality legal annotation aligned with jurisdictional standards. Skills&Experience Required: Law degree or paralegal-level legal research experience. Strong grasp of statutory interpretation and case reasoning. Ability to analyze legal arguments objectively.
