GM/DGM – Project Excellence (Industrial & Warehousing) Location: [Mumbai, India] Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced project management professional from Industrial Parks / Warehousing sector background to oversee end-to-end execution of industrial and warehouse projects. The role requires technical expertise, strong leadership, and hands-on project management skills to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and safety adherence. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning & Execution:
- Lead construction activities from pre-construction to handover.
- Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Identify and appoint local vendors having expertise in PEB, MEP, Civil and Interiors for Industrial Parks and Warehouses.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure seamless execution. 2. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and manage on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources and personnel.
- Mentor site engineers and junior staff to maintain high standards. 3. Quality & Safety Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Implement corrective measures for any deviations or safety concerns. 4. Budget & Cost Management:
- Monitor project costs and ensure execution within budget.
- Review invoices, change orders, and progress payments.
- Optimize resource utilization to maximize profitability. 5. Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain clear and regular communication with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and performance metrics.
- Address client queries and provide technical solutions proactively. Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in industrial, warehouse, or large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technologies used in industrial facilities.
- Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Key Competencies:
