Senior Manager, Risk Policy Mumbai

Role & responsibilities Proposing policy amendments based on business outlook, benchmarking with peers, and identifying low-risk, high-potential segments to support business objectives. Driving key initiatives such as APF, scorecard models, RAG framework, and digital process-improvement projects to strengthen underwriting and operational efficiency. Designing frameworks for current business models (Prime HL, HRS) and creating performance-tracking mechanisms for Credit and Location reviews. Monitoring portfolio performance, identifying delinquency-prone segments, and publishing portfolio/business performance reports for senior management. Conducting regional reviews and sensitization sessions to guide field teams on delinquency trends and portfolio issues. Supporting Business and Risk Reviews through preparation of information packs and responding to analytical/data requests from committees and management. Preparing and rolling out policies, test programs, amendments, and annual policy renewals while addressing field queries and ensuring alignment with updated guidelines. Managing deviations across LMS platforms and rationalizing deviations to ensure adherence to policy norms. Conducting policy trainings and designing L&D; content for cross-functional teams with timely updates based on guideline revisions. Undertaking location visits to understand processes, identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and provide sensitization on portfolio behavior.
