BDIL is now firmly aligned with the Government of India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India vision, aspiring to play a leading role in indigenous defence manufacturing, shipbuilding, and allied infrastructure projects Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Executive – Commercial Management to own the complete tendering lifecycle — from opportunity identification through to bid closure. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, ensure full compliance with tender requirements, and drive successful bid submissions within tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end tender processes — planning, bid preparation, submission, and post-bid follow-up.
- Review tender documents for compliance and coordinate with internal teams for required inputs.
- Prepare and format technical and financial bids as per tender specifications and requirements.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and fully compliant bid submissions without exception.
- Respond to pre-bid queries, attend bid/pre-bid meetings, and track tender updates and amendments.
- Maintain an organized database of submitted tenders, bid outcomes, and awarded contracts.
- Handle post-bid clarifications and support smooth handover to the project execution team.
- Contribute to process improvements and standardization of bid templates and documentation. Essential Requirements:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in tender management and bid coordination.
- Experience working with government and institutional sector clients.
- Proficiency with tender portals: GeM, CPPP, eProcure, and other sector-specific platforms.
- Strong understanding of tendering processes, documentation standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to independently manage complete bid cycles from RFP to award.
- Familiarity with government procurement norms, DPP guidelines, and financial bid structuring. Skills & Competencies:
- Solid attention to detail with high accuracy in document preparation and review.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills — both verbal and written.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to continuously learn in a fast-evolving defence tech environment. Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience in Telecom, IT, Services, or any technology-driven industry in a similar bid/commercial role.
