Java /Senior java developer (Mumbai)

Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, RESTful APIs, and database management, with a passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Robust proficiency in Java (8+) and frameworks like Spring/Spring Boot.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
