We're seeking someone to join our Centralized Management Projects team as a Business Analyst in Finance Division.

In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is an Analyst level position within the Portfolio & Change Management Job Family. The Finance Centralised Management project team is responsible for managing a considerable percentage of Finance's technology spend, helping to deliver across a portfolio of projects including, Finance data Cloud Strategy, Finance Data Warehouse, Regulatory Capital, Leverage and Reporting, Financial Accounting and General Ledger renovation. The team is also front and centre of the technology architecture discussions. The team supports Global and local regulatory driven initiatives across Financial and Capital Reporting including Basel 3, Capital Calculators, FED, SEC, PRA & EBA reporting initiatives as well firm level initiatives for better data sourcing & data quality.

Role requires candidate to support cross-functional change initiatives that move critical Finance data to Snowflake, ensure datasets adhere to defined standards and enable AI-ready reporting for management and regulatory needs. You will work within a broader global Finance Cloud adoption & governance program, supporting local users and stakeholders in India, and contribute to delivery using disciplined change and implementation practices.

What you'll do in the role:
- Assist in preparing Finance data for AI readiness-help with sourcing, structuring, and cataloguing
- working closely with Finance and Technology teams.
- Support application of data strategy standards: data quality checks, governance/data contracts, lineage documentation, and consistent entitlements.
- Help translate Finance reporting needs into data requirements and models; contribute to analysis and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Execute test cases and scripts for functional and regression testing; maintain documentation and track issues.
- Build collaborative relationships with a squad working across different departments and regions.
- Communicate and escalate to line management as appropriate.
- Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls

- Willingness to learn Finance principles, tools and systems

- Basic understanding of Finance reporting concepts and reference data (GL, Cost Centre, Legal Entity)
- Basic familiarity with AI / GenAI concepts, exposure to using prompts responsibly to query, summarise, or analyse data outputs is a plus
- Experience with data analysis, and testing in UAT environments.
- Familiarity with financial products and Trade Life Cycle is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and documentation skills
- Positive communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to liaise with colleagues/clients at different levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently and efficiently to achieve goals either as an individual or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in tools like SQL, Power BI and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Visio and Teams) is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in Finance, Technology, or data-related roles (internships or academic projects are a plus).

Desired Skills
- Agile experience within a squad/fleet
- Working knowledge of Snowflake (or comparable cloud data platforms) and SQL
- Familiarity with traditional project management approaches.
