People Analytics Partner- Total Rewards (Mumbai)

Amex GBT is a place where colleagues find inspiration in travel as a force for good and through their work can make an impact on the industry. The Total Rewards Analytics Partner will serve as a focused analytics resource supporting the Compensation and Benefits teams.

Responsibilities

- Support analytics initiatives for Compensation and Benefits teams by developing reports, dashboards, and insights that drive decision‑making.
- Design and deliver reliable reports and dashboards using Workday, Power BI, or other reporting tools to communicate compensation and benefits data insights effectively.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within compensation structures, benefits utilization, and total rewards programs.
- Translate business questions into analytical solutions, working collaboratively with Total Rewards partners to understand their needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain key metrics and KPIs that measure the effectiveness of compensation programs, benefits offerings, and total rewards initiatives.
- Support compensation benchmarking and analysis, providing data‑driven insights on market competitiveness and pay equity.
- Analyze benefits utilization and costs, finding opportunities to optimize program build and employee engagement.
- Support data quality and governance by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all compensation and benefits reporting.
- Stay current with analytics tools and methodologies, evaluating new technologies and guidelines that could benefit our reporting capabilities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Total Rewards teams, interpreting data insights and recommending data‑driven actions.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, data modeling, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience with Workday reporting (preferred) or other HRIS systems, including understanding of data structure and reporting capabilities.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools (required).
- Experience supporting compensation and/or benefits reporting and analytics in a global or complex organizational environment.
- High proficiency in Excel and data manipulation.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain data insights to partners at all levels.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Learning mindset—committed to evolving skills and staying current with industry trends and tools.
- Knowledge of compensation structures, benefits programs, payroll processes, and total rewards guidelines is a plus.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Flexibility to accommodate global time zones and work schedules.
