Job Description:

Research & Data Management

· Undertake research to support strategic planning, design and implementation of projects for Heat Risk Management.

· Identify emerging research priorities, evidence gaps, and data needs within the urban heat and climate resilience ecosystem.

· Support the development and curation of research proposals and knowledge partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, civil society organizations, and ecosystem actors.

· Track and synthesize developments in urban climate action, philanthropy, climate resilience, cooling, waste management, and related sectors.

Knowledge Building & Dissemination

· Support the development of knowledge products including reports, briefs, papers, blogs, case studies, presentations, learning notes etc. in collaboration with program and communications teams.

· Identify and execute opportunities for knowledge dissemination through convenings, workshops, roundtables, conferences, and ecosystem platforms.

· Generate and synthesize concise internal and policy briefs and thematic notes/opinion pieces on emerging urban climate trends, innovations, and policy developments.

Organizational Learning

· Support the development and implementation of systems and processes for institutional knowledge management and cross-team learning.

· Organize and maintain internal databases, repositories, and documentation systems to improve knowledge retention and accessibility.

Programmatic Support:

· Support in overseeing the lifecycle of grants, including proposal evaluation, due diligence, disbursement, monitoring, and reporting.

· Assist in monitoring and evaluating projects through data interpretation and visualization.

Skillsets required :

· 6
- 8 years of relevant experience in research, knowledge management or related roles in the climate sector, preferably Urban.

· Experience working with research institutions, think tanks, NGOs, or philanthropic organizations would be an advantage.

· Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills with attention to detail.

· Solid documentation, and visualization skills.

· Basic understanding of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks would be an advantage.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Hindi and Marathi is a plus
