Job Title Power Electronics & Embedded Hardware Engineer — GaN USB-C PD Charger Company Dium Lucis Technologies Private Limited Location : Chennai (In office) Type : Full-time About Us We are an active electronics brand selling Made-in-India chargers, cables, and accessories across Amazon India and B2B channels. We are now expanding our engineering team to build a next-gen 65W GaN USB-C PD charger with built-in charger-side intelligence — real-time voltage, current, and temperature monitoring via STM32 firmware. What you will do Design and validate AC-DC / DC-DC GaN power stages (65W, >90% efficiency) Develop embedded firmware on STM32G071 — USB PD 3.0 + PPS, ADC-based telemetry, EEPROM data logging Design 4-layer PCBs in Altium Designer — high-speed, EMI-aware, thermal-optimized Prototype bring-up, debugging, and hardware validation using oscilloscopes, DMMs, protocol analyzers Support BIS IS 13252 pre-compliance and EMI/EMC testing Coordinate DFM and EMS production scaling Generate Gerber files, BOMs, and pick-place data; coordinate directly with PCB fabs and EMS vendors Perform hands-on SMD soldering, rework, and prototype assembly in-house using soldering iron and hot air Required 2–4 years in power electronics, embedded hardware, or SMPS design Hands-on with DC-DC / AC-DC converters, gate drivers, MOSFET/IGBT/GaN selection STM32 firmware experience (C, peripheral config, UART/SPI/I2C/CAN) PCB design proficiency (Altium / OrCAD / Allegro) Understanding of USB Power Delivery (PD 3.0 / PPS) or willingness to deep-dive fast Hands-on experience with PCB assembly, SMD soldering/rework, and Gerber generation for fabrication Bachelor’s/Master’s in EEE, ECE, or related Preferred : GaN FET or high-frequency SMPS experience USB PD stack implementation (ST UCPD, Cypress, etc.) BIS/CE/FCC certification exposure Telemetry, IoT, or fleet-data logging projects Altium + signal integrity + thermal simulation (PLECS, LTspice) Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4n6nil
