Senior Electrical Engineer - Water (Mumbai)

**Description**

+

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Designing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including power distribution (low and medium voltage), emergency power systems, and load calculations.

+ Creating one-line drawings, motor schematics, and wiring diagrams.

+ Performing design calculations for transformers, emergency generators, UPS, battery systems, cables, and lighting systems.

+ Preparing cable schedules and panel board schedules.

+ Developing plans for grounding, cable trays, power, duct banks, area classification, and lighting.

+ Creating technical specifications and datasheets for major electrical equipment.

+ Conducting technical bid evaluations and reviewing vendor drawings.

+ Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices for project execution and to ensure standard compliance.

+ Innovating and improving electrical engineering design practices.

+ Ensuring quality assurance, adherence to project schedules, and meeting client requirements.

**Qualifications**

+

**Educational Qualifications:** Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering.

+

**Experience Required:** 6 to 9 years.

+

**Skills Required:**

+ Knowledge of NEC, NFPA and U.S. local codes and standards.

+ Proficiency in Revit, and AutoCAD for electrical design and coordination.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

+ Solid analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

+ Experience on U.S. based EPC or design-build projects is preferred.
