Job Title: SEO Manager (Immediate Joiners Preferred) Experience Level: 4–6 Years Industry: Financial Services / Fintech Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and data-driven SEO Manager to lead our organic search strategy and drive significant YOY growth. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the fintech or a related highly regulated industry, a strong technical SEO background, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. This role requires close collaboration with content, product, and development teams to enhance our online visibility and user experience in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, to align with business objectives and increase organic traffic and conversions. Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and define quarterly SEO roadmaps.
- Technical SEO Management: Lead regular technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexing, site speed, mobile optimization) and collaborate with the engineering/development teams to implement fixes and best practices, such as schema markup and site architecture improvements.
- Content & On-Page Optimization: Guide content creators on SEO best practices, keyword integration, and content structure, ensuring alignment with user search intent and regulatory compliance for financial topics. Optimize landing pages, product descriptions, and blog posts for maximum search visibility.
- Off-Page SEO & Authority Building: Develop and manage ethical link-building initiatives and digital PR efforts to strengthen the website's domain authority and credibility within the financial services ecosystem.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as organic traffic, rankings, conversion rates, and ROI using tools like Google Analytics (GA4) , Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, etc.. Provide transparent, actionable reports and insights to senior stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work effectively with product, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure SEO is integrated into all digital initiatives and product launches. Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on SEO experience, with a proven track record of significantly improving organic rankings and traffic, preferably within the fintech, financial services, or e-commerce industries.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors. Proficiency with core SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog). A basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture is essential for effective collaboration with developers.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the nuances of marketing financial products, including compliance standards and the need for high E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) content.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills to manage multiple initiatives and collaborate effectively across departments. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.
