As a Senior DevOps Engineer-Analytics, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our analytics platform. Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Design and implement automated deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable software releases. Develop and maintain CI/CD practices, promoting code quality and consistency. Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to optimize data pipelines and ensure data integrity. Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues. Ensure high availability and scalability of analytics infrastructure, handling peak loads effectively. Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency, leveraging cloud-based solutions. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, incorporating current technologies into our DevOps practices. Document and maintain comprehensive system documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer and easy onboarding. Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical expertise for analytics projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong background in analytics infrastructure. Proven experience leading and managing DevOps teams, demonstrating strong leadership skills. Expertise in cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies. Proficiency in scripting and automation, with experience in Python, Bash, or similar languages. Robust understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is preferred. Knowledge of database technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL, is essential. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or Datadog is an advantage. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
