Requirements University degree in a quantitative field 2 years of experience in quantitative model development/quantitative trading/algo-trading Strong programming skills, python/C++ preferred Ability to work collaboratively across teams Key responsibilities Build new, and augment existing, trading algorithms to provide best execution to clientsIntegrate understanding of market structure, mathematical techniques and trading to identify areas where existing models can be improved Research, prototype and back-test new ideas, and work with production team on high-quality implementation of successful ideas in production Hands on development experience in C++ STL.Candidate should have experience in the development of low latency trading platform. Should know Network programming– TCP, UDP, sockets and multicast. Should have a good understanding of market data and exchange protocols. Working knowledge of Python and shell scripting will be a plus. Should have lead a development team of at least 5-7 members.Skillset: approx. 2 years of experience in C++ STL. Graduation (Preferably B.E) from reputed university
