Description
The Site Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end execution of the Hydro PSP, ensuring timely delivery within budget, maintaining safety and quality standards, engaging stakeholders, and driving digital and CSR initiatives. The role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex project dynamics. Role & responsibilities A. Project Execution
- Oversee all site activities from pre-construction to commissioning.
- Ensure alignment with project plans, approved drawings, method statements technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and internal teams for smooth execution.
- Maintain a dynamic risk register and ensure regular updates based on project progress and stakeholder inputs.
- Identify potential risks (technical, financial, environmental) and develop mitigation strategies. •

- Monitor project milestones, cost performance, and resource utilization.
- Implement corrective actions to address deviations from budget or schedule.
- Timely reporting of project performance dashboards and financial reports to the management. C. Safety and quality at Project Site
- Enforce robust safety and quality management systems across all site operations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety norms and internal quality standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and quality inspections.
- Drive a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement in workmanship.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions based on safety and quality observations.
- Facilitate training programs to enhance awareness and accountability among site personnel. D. Stakeholder & Team Engagement
- Build and maintain solid relationships with government authorities, local communities, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate timely approvals, resolve site-level issues, and ensure transparent communication.
- Eure timely identification, requirement planning, and placement of project personnel as per site needs and the approved organogram. E. CSR Initiative
- Identify and implement CSR programs that benefit local communities.
- Collaborate with NGOs and local authorities for sustainable development.
- Track impact and ensure alignment with corporate CSR goals. F. Team Engagement & Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate site teams to achieve project goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors/Master Degree in Civil Engineering
- 20-27 years of experience in large-scale hydropower or Pump storage projects.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale hydropower projects, managing project teams, and ensuring project delivery on time and within budget.
