Logistics Head Company: SK Translines Pvt. Ltd. Job Location: Jalgaon, Maharashtra Job Summary SK Translines Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Logistics Head to manage and supervise overall logistics and transportation operations. The candidate will be responsible for backend logistics management, dispatch planning, vehicle tracking, branch coordination, operational reporting, team handling, customer coordination, and smooth execution of transportation activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, logistics operational knowledge, transportation management experience, problem-solving abilities, and team coordination capabilities. Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Operations Management
- Handle and supervise day-to-day logistics and transportation operations.
- Manage dispatch planning, vehicle placement, and transportation scheduling.
- Monitor shipment movement, loading/unloading activities, and delivery status.
- Ensure smooth operational workflow and transportation execution. Team Management & Coordination
- Supervise operations staff, backend team, drivers, and transport coordinators.
- Coordinate with branches, warehouses, clients, and transport vendors.
- Maintain discipline, reporting structure, and operational communication. Vehicle Tracking & Dispatch Monitoring
- Monitor vehicle movement and transportation updates.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery coordination.
- Resolve transportation delays and operational issues. Client & Vendor Coordination
- Maintain professional communication with customers and transport vendors.
- Handle client operational requirements and service coordination.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and operational support. ERP, Reporting & Documentation
- Handle operational reporting, MIS reports, Excel records, and ERP updates.
- Maintain dispatch records, POD status, stock updates, and operational documents.
- Share daily operational reports with management. Process Improvement & Compliance
- Implement operational process improvements and workflow management.
- Ensure company operational policies and reporting discipline are followed.
- Support management in operational planning and execution. Required Skills
- Strong logistics and transportation knowledge
- Team handling and leadership skills
- Dispatch and vehicle coordination experience
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of MS Excel, ERP, and operational reporting
- Ability to manage backend logistics operations professionally Qualification
- Any Graduate
- MBA / Logistics / Supply Chain Management preferred Experience
- Minimum 3+ years experience in Logistics, Transportation, or Operations Management preferred.
- Experience in backend logistics operations, dispatch planning, and team handling will be an advantage. Benefits
