Procurement Manager (Barwani)

Job Summary : We are looking for a technically strong Procurement Manager with hands-on knowledge of solar systems. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring solar components such as panels, inverters, structures, and cables while ensuring cost efficiency, quality standards, and smooth coordination with design and project teams.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical Procurement Handle procurement of solar components: Solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, DC/AC cables Verify technical specifications as per system design Ensure quality and certification compliance (MNRE, IEC, BIS)

2. Vendor Management Identify, onboard, and manage new and existing vendors Build strong vendor relationships and negotiate pricing Evaluate vendor performance (quality, delivery, pricing)

3. Vendor Development & Documentation Generate new vendors to improve pricing and supply chain Maintain proper vendor documentation: GST details, certifications, company profile Ensure all vendors meet compliance standards

4. Price Analysis & Cost Optimization Conduct comparative analysis of prices from multiple vendors Track market trends of solar products Recommend cost-effective procurement strategies

5. Coordination with Design Team Work closely with design engineers for BOQ and specifications Ensure procurement aligns with system design requirements Suggest alternative materials if required

6. Product Research Stay updated with new solar technologies and products Evaluate current products for better efficiency and cost savings

7. Inventory & Planning Plan procurement based on project pipeline Ensure timely availability of materials Coordinate with inventory team for stock management

8. Quality Control Ensure all materials meet required standards Resolve quality issues with vendors

9. Reporting & Documentation Maintain procurement records and price comparison sheets Provide regular reports on procurement and vendor performance
