Mechanical Design Engineer (Dindigul)

Job Role: Mechanical Design Engineer
- Automotive Experience: 4 to 6 Years Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automotive components using CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE
- Work on plastic part design, injection molding, and casting components
- Apply GD&T; principles and tolerance stack-up analysis (3DCS)
- Design components for ECU, sensors, camera, radar, and electronic enclosures
- Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design validation and product development
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and manufacturability requirements
- Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and engineering change management

Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in automotive mechanical design
- Solid expertise in CATIA V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE (mandatory)
- Experience in plastic design, injection molding, or casting
- Good knowledge of GD&T; and tolerance stack-up analysis (3DCS)
- Experience working on automotive components or systems
- Strong understanding of product design and development lifecycle
