Working Days: Monday to Friday

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager / Project Engineer to execute projects within a high-end architectural fabrication facility specializing in metal, glass systems, and signage. Most large-scale projects are for major General Contractors and Construction Managers (e.g., Tishman, Turner, Lend Lease).

The ideal candidate must be punctual, organized, and experienced in architectural metals, glass systems, signage, construction management, or mechanical engineering. This role requires robust multitasking capabilities, as multiple projects are active simultaneously.

We work on some of the largest projects in the Recent York metropolitan area and are looking for someone who can grow with the company and become a long-term asset.

Key Responsibilities

Takeoff & Scheduling

Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings

Review scope and compare with sales orders

Identify discrepancies or errors

Develop project schedules and Gantt charts

Maintain project tracking sheets

Shop Drawings

Coordinate with design and engineering teams

Develop and revise shop drawings

Manage approval process through multiple iterations

Procurement

Solicit vendor pricing

Assist in estimating with senior management

Execute material purchasing

Samples

Coordinate fabrication and delivery of required samples

Ensure compliance with contract documents
